Tiffany, a devoted single mother to a 16-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter, lost her job due to illness and was facing eviction.
With no income, she was sleeping on the floor and had to tell her children that celebrating Christmas would not be possible this year.
Although she recently started a new job, she needed temporary assistance with her electric bill and rent until she received her first paycheck.
Recognizing her strength and determination, the OLR Vincentians stepped in to help with immediate financial needs.
Through partnership with the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Charities Christmas Drive, and the Sharing Tree, we were able to ensure the family experienced a joyful and memorable Christmas.
They were surprised with a decorated Christmas tree, small gifts, and care kits filled with cleaning products and personal care items.
Tiffany was overjoyed to call her family together and share with us that they will now all have their own bars of soap in a warm home with utilities.
