How We Spread Hope

Personalized - Vincentian to Neighbor Care
What sets us apart is our unique “two by two” approach to service. We go to the neighbor in need. We provide personalized, face-to-face support through one-on-one encounters and home visits. We see the face of Christ in our neighbor and we pray they see HIS face in us. We don’t see neighbors in crisis as clients; we see them as fellow community members and friends. This personal connection fosters a genuine relationship rooted in respect and trust — helping to move toward a lasting change.
Mission Guided
By Spirituality, Friendship, and Service
At the heart of our work is a deep spiritual commitment. As Vincentians, service is a vocation motivated by love — to love God by loving our neighbor. This calling inspires us to work for systemic change alongside providing direct support.

Hope Extended
Across the NC Cape Fear Region by Our Conference
We are blessed to be a Deanery Conference, first of its kind in North Carolina. We spread HOPE over 400 sq. miles with coverage of 22 zip codes and growing. Vincentians are from our 12 Deanery Parishes and UNCW.
It all starts with a call to the HOPE Line where prayers and attentive ears are waiting for a neighbor in need to call and begin the process of HOPE. From this point, we coordinate outreach efforts, provide spiritual formation, and work directly with neighbors to bring them peace. Encounters, also known as Home Visits, are scheduled and the path for helping a neighbor get back on the road for independence begins.
